Outside Broadcast Promotion Fleet

Clare FM launched their brand new Outside Broadcast Unit to the public at the finale of a major promotion in the Quin Road Business Park in Ennis. The Outside Broadcast Unit, which took several months to complete, was unveiled as Clare FM celebrate their 21st year of broadcasting. The Mercedes Sprinter, which was literally constructed from the wheels up by specialist outfitters Wilker Ltd., houses the very latest in broadcast technology and is a welcome new addition to the Clare FM promotional fleet. The OB Unit has already been booked in advance by Clients for launches and promotional activity.

Commenting on the latest addition to their promotional fleet Clare FM’s General Manager Susan Murphy said “Our first OB Unit has been on the road since 1995 and as all of the company’s branding has been updated over the past two years we felt that now was the time to invest in a modern Unit that would portray the Clare FM of 2011. With this year also being our 21st year of broadcasting to the people of Clare we felt we owed it not only to the brand but also to our many Clients who use Clare FM and our OB Unit to promote their own brand and products.

It has been a huge investment for us but we are thrilled with the final product as it reflects the happy positive image of Clare FM and the fact that it appeals to all ages across the board.   With our other promotional vehicle’s also having received a re-branding the entire fleet looks fresh and inviting. We have devised brand new packages for Clients that will suit all budgets and our main purpose now is to get the new OB Unit out to every corner of the County”.

Claire Bannon, from Indigo Signs Shannon who were responsible for the design on the new OB Unit. speaking at the launch said “It was a huge project for us as we had to come up with a design that reflected the iconic brand that is Clare FM. There were time constraints as we had to ensure it was ready for the deadline. We really enjoyed the challenge and worked very closely with the team at Clare FM through each stage of the process. The design was tweaked right up to the last minute but we were very lucky because the logo and colours of Clare FM allowed us a lot of creativity. We are delighted and very proud with not only the finished product in terms of the Outside Broadcast but with the final branding on the entire fleet”
