On Monday’s Morning Focus Marian Egan spoke with Clare Deputies Michael McNamara of the Labour Party and Timmy Dooley of Fianna Fail about possible threat to Clare Accessible Transport

Deputy McNamara says he fully supports the Rural Transport Network and described the work of Clare Accessible Transport as invaluable
Whilst not opposed to a review of any service, particularly in difficult economic times, but says that any reorganisation of rural transport must not result in the diminution of services
The strong community ethos of Clare Accessible Transport must be retained
Deputy Dooley, who is Fianna Fail’s Transport spokesperson is opposing any plan to axe the Rural Transport Network, describing the move as ‘another attack on rural Ireland’
He said it has been an extremely successful and cost-effective scheme since its inception in 2002.

It is a diet which involves severe calorie restriction for two days a week and normal eating the other five days, it is a form of intermittent fasting
Dr. Muireann Cullen, Manager, Nutrition and Health Foundation discussed the pros and cons with Marian.
