The West Clare coastal attraction came out on top of the shortlist which included Killarney and Inishbofin in the competition run by the Irish Times
Conor Goodman, Features Editor with The Irish Times, spoke with John about why Loophead was successful and what the judges made of the attractions on offer there.
John also spoke with some locals and tourism providers in the area who said they are all thrilled at this fantastic coupe and hope it attracts people to Loophead who may never have experienced it before
