Ennis Town Councillor Johnny Flynn is calling for the council to seek legal advice into the constitutionality of the abolition of Ennis Town Council under article 28A 
He spoke with John Cooke on Thursday’s Morning Focus and said he does not claim expenses as a town councillor and that he thinks many people would still serve town council if there were no expenses.

Four especially pink wrapped Nissan Micra’s will be in Dulick Motors in Ennis tomorrow
They have set themselves a target €10,000 (200 test drives) for Breast Cancer Ireland and

have already raised over €7,000 so they need more support before close of play on Saturday to hit their target

The Lahinch Town Twinning Association was founded in 1991 and is one of the more successful twinnings as it is still going after 21 years
They are twinned with Arzon in Brittany, which is similar to Lahinch in that it is a seasonal tourist town
A group of 10 people visited Arzon for St. Patrick’s Day this year and a group of 16 visited Lahinch in September
Paul O’Brien, Chairman and guitarist Paddy Mulcahy joined John in studio along with Lahinch musicians Nolan Folk- Edel Barry, Billy Hamilton, Erin McNeill and James Skerrit
They have a number of fundraising events taking place this weekend, a concert tomorrow night in the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon at 8pm (tickets are €5) and a Christmas Fair on Sunday in Teach Ceol, Ennistymon between 12-4pm.

Food and crafts producers will illustrate the importance of purchasing goods locally and the knock-on positive effects for the environment
Talks on up cycling will also demonstrate to members of the public who attend the many benefits by providing new ideas for customised, sustainable Christmas gifts
The event coincides with European Week for Waste Reduction (EWWR), a European-wide project aimed at promoting sustainable waste reduction actions in Member States

The Carrigaholt National School teacher, who is from Doonbeg, has been fundraising for and volunteering in the Cherven orphanage in Belarus since 2001
This weekend will see the first of two Strictly Come Dancing West Clare shows
1,400 tickets have been sold for this Saturday night and next Friday night – Edel spoke with John about the worthy cause.
