Shannon Gardai are investigating what’s believed to have been an organised fight at a graveyard in Cratloe
Up to 30 men had converged at Craughan Cemetery on Sunday night, before Gardai from Ennis and Shannon were called to the scene, and a number of arrests were made.

Local residents contacted PJ when they noticed a large Garda presence Sunday night in Craughan Cemetery and he expressed their shock and concern at this incident.

Enterprise Ireland is hopeful a new fund for start-up companies in the aviation sector will help kick-start job creation in Shannon
Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation Richard Bruton was in Shannon yesterday for the launch of a 375 thousand euro Competitive Feasibility Fund, which is aimed at stimulating new companies or expanding existing businesses
The scheme’s application process is open, and it’s expected that around 15 companies will benefit
Clare FM’s Gavin Grace was there to speak with Minister Bruton, he also spoke with Rose Hynes, Chairman of Shannon Airport and Jerry Maloney, Midwest Regional Director with Enterprise Ireland.
