Ireland prepares to pick Eurovision Entry

Ireland will choose its 2012 entry for Eurovision tonight.

Dublin duo Jedward are back - hoping to represent us in Azerbaijan.

The twins will perform 5th tonight on the Late Late Show.

They are the favourites to beat in the competition.

Classic chic flick Dirty Dancing's being remade.

The 1987 film, which starred the late Patrick Swayze and Jennifer Gray, will
have a whole new cast and more songs added from the 1960s.
     
The film's original choreographer - who also directed the Michael Jackson
movie "This Is It" as well as "High School Musical" - will take charge of the
new version which has not yet been cast.

WINEHOUSE HQ

Amy Winehouse's north London home will become the new headquarters of the
foundation being set up in her name.

It's being reported the two-point-five million pound property in Camden, where
the star was found dead last month, will be where the charity's based.

The Edinburgh Fringe opens today, with this year's line-up including Hollywood
film star John Malkovich and comedian Al Murray.

A duet between Tony Bennett and Amy Winehouse is being released as a single to
benefit the drug addiction charity set up by Amy's father.
    
The two recorded the classic pop song 'Body and Soul' in March.

Detectives are investigating after the daughter of Dragons' Den star Duncan
Bannatyne was threatened on Twitter.

Durham Police say the threats appear to originate from an email address based
in Russia.

The 62-year-old entrepreneur is retaliating by offering a substantial reward
for information leading to the man's arrest.

KINGS OF LEON CANCEL US TOUR

Kings of Leon have cancelled their entire US tour after a disastrous show in
Texas.

Lead singer Caleb Followill is said to be suffering from "vocal issues and
exhaustion".

They were booed off stage at a concert in Dallas on Friday and cancelled a gig
in Houston on Sunday.

Ryan Dunn, a co-star of the hit MTV show "Jackass" has been killed in a car
crash in the US.

Police say the daredevil personality, who was just 34, was driving a sports
car in suburban Philadelphia - when it came off the road and burst into flames.

A passenger - not yet identified - also died in the crash early yesterday
morning.

The latest candidate to be fired from The Apprentice says he "didn't fail at
one thing". Glenn Ward was given his marching orders last night. It's after his
team's magazine for over-60s failed to secure enough advertising. Lord Sugar
told Glenn he'd never known an engineer to have enough ideas to make it in

The cast of Shrek the Musical have been given a standing ovation by the
audience for their opening night. Stars walked down a green carpet last night

Amanda Holden as Princess Fiona and Nigel Lindsay as the green ogre.
