10,000 Children’s Medical Cards Won’t Be Issued Until Next Spring

It looks like 10,000 medical cards to children in receipt of domicillary care allowance won't be issued until next Spring. 

It looks like 10,000 medical cards to children in receipt of domicillary care allowance won't be issued until next Spring. 

The government promised in the summer that the cards would be given after changes to the law and allowed for in the budget. 

Today the Taoiseach confirmed Cabinet approved the legislation last week and it should be passed in the first quarter of next year after which all 10,000 cards will be issued.
