The Jobs Minister has welcomed the announcement of a Shannon-based company that it's creating 250 new jobs in Galway as proof of commitment to the regions.
Healthcare company Zimmer will recruit the extra staff over five years at its facility in Oranmore

The Company – which established a base in Shannon in 2007 – already employs 330 people there.
Management say the Clare base remains their flagship in Ireland, adding that they will continue to invest in their operations in here.
