Clarecastle's TD is calling for the model of care offered at the local Daycare Centre to become part of the national dementia strategy.
The facility was provided with operational funding in 2013 for the dementia-specific unit, as part of a Government aim to increase awareness and understanding about the condition.

Fine Gael TD Joe Carey now wants this to be replicated elsewhere, while he also thinks the government should further enhance services in Clarecastle.
