Clare has voted overwhelmingly against the Age Of Presidential Candidates Referendum.
Only 24.01 per cent of votes were in favour of changing the constitution to lower the presidential age to 21 while 75.99 per cent voted No.

The total number of Yes votes was 11,576 while 36,633 people voted against changing the constitution.
The official count for Clare was declared at Ennis Courthouse at around 6.50pm.
