Nearly 1.5 million people visited Clare's most popular tourist destinations last year.
New figures from Fáilte Ireland have confirmed that more than one million people went to the Cliffs of Moher last year, and that this saw it leapfrog Dublin Zoo as the country's second most populat attraction.

It now trails only the Guinness Storehouse by 112,000 visitors.
Bunratty Castle, meanwhile, is the country's 11th most popular paid tourist attraction and saw 295,000 people pass through its gates last year.
