First Of Its Kind Immersive Dementia Experience Taking Place In Ennis Today

A one of a kind immersive experience is taking place in Clare today to show the public what it’s like to live with Dementia.

Over 55,000 people in Ireland are currently living with the condition, which can cause memory loss, agitation, difficulty concentrating, sleep disorder and social withdraw.

Bluebird Care’s unique Dementia Bus will be stationed at Friar’s Walk Bus Park in Ennis until 5pm today and, will simulate the disorientation of senses and brain fog of dementia when carrying out daily tasks.

 

Bluebird Care Office Manager Theresa Sexton says its a vital window into the lives of vulnerable people.
