A prominent Clare psychiatrist has welcomed a new strategy aimed at cutting the rate of suicide in Ireland.
The government-launched 'Connecting For life' document outlines initiatives aimed at reducing suicides here by 10 per cent, on top of a decline in the number of cases over recent years.
