A man has been arrested in connection with a crash in East Clare which has left a 60-year-old man in a critical condition in hospital.
The man was injured in the two-car collision at Knockadoon on the Tulla-Scariff Road before 7:30 yesterday morning, and was taken to University Hospital Limerick.

A 31-year-old man was arrested in connection with the crash last night, and is currently being questioned at Killaloe Garda Station under Section 13 of the Non-Fatal Offences Against the Persons Act.
