Over 1K Sign Blake’s Corner Petition

Over 1,100 people have signed an online petition calling on Clare County Council not to knock private homes as part of their plan to deal with traffic issues at Blake's Corner.

A public meeting on the Council's controversial "preferred solution" is being held in the town tonight, days after the local authority unveiled a 6 million euro plan that would include a new bridge in the North Clare town.

The public anger comes as the possibility of an alternative method to ease traffic congestion is raised by one local representative.
