Over two hundred thousand people are expected to attend this year's National Ploughing Championships in Co Laois.
The three day annual event – now one of the largest in the world – is getting underway this morning.

The Championships – which will be opened by the President – are returning to Ratheniska near Stradbally for the second consecutive year.
Clare will be represented in Co. Laois this week with five competitors from the Banner County.
