Report Shows Nearly 3,000 Clare Carers

Nearly 3,000 Clare residents spent at least 15 hours a week each caring for sick, elderly and vulnerable people here.

Figures released by Irish Red Cross show that there are 5,300 carers in the county, and that together they give more than 122,000 hours of unpaid care to other people each week.
