Road Safety Officer Concerns Over Speed Van Uncertainties

Clare's road safety officer has called for the swift implementation of new laws if they are needed, to ensure that motorists caught speeding by Go Safe vans are prosecuted.

Barry Keating's comments come after Ennis District Court Judge Patrick Durcan dismissed 98 cases related to alleged speeding offences by mainly Clare-based drivers this week.
