Roadworks continue around Ennis

Extensive works are to be carried out this week on a bridge, near Ennis, which has been closed due to concerns about its structural integrity.

Kilcurrish Bridge has been closed for over a month, but works will begin tomorrow and take up to six weeks to complete.

Separately, motorists in Ennis are being warned of a wide range of resurfacing works in the town over the coming days –  will begin on Monday.

Routes affected include the Childers Road, Tulla Road, Turnpike Road and the Glor Roundabout.

Meanwhile, the local L1128 road will be closed this week from its junction with the N18 at Moanreel to the junction known as 81 Cross to allow for resurfacing works.
