The HSE says it has developed a plan to tackle issues uncovered by HIQA in an inspection of Ennis General Hospital.
A report published this flagged issues with cleanliness in one area of the hospital's endoscopy unit, and pointed out issues related to hand hygiene.

The UL Hospitals Group, of which Ennis General is a meber, say they welcome the report and how it has helped bring a focus to coninuous improvement in relation to infection control at the countr hospital.
A Quality Improvement Plan has now been developed, and will be published on the HSE's website in the coming weeks.
