Voter turnout slow across Clare and country
Voter turnout for the Eu Fiscal Treaty Referendum is slow across many parts of the country including here in Clare.
173 polling booths at 106 stations across the county opened at 7 this morning, with a further 8 booths in Corbally and Parteen in teh Limerick East Constitutency.
Average turnout so far in areas like Ennis, Tulla, Killaloe and Shannon stand at around the 10 percent mark - a figure which is being reflected nationally
Polling stations remain open until 10 pm tonight and counting of the votes in the Clare constituency begins at the Auburn Lodge Hotel in Ennis tomorrow at 9.
