Today we investigated on Biddy Fox a lady buried in Kilmurry graveyard in 1905 and detailed as a 116 year old lady. If true this would make her the oldest ever living Irish person in History. In the 1901 census there is a Bridgit Fox in the Rathluby Quin, listed as a widow, housekeeper and aged 100. John was joined by Fianna Fáil Cllr Alan O’Callaghan from Sixmilebridge who first got in touch with a picture of Biddy Foxes Gravestone and Oral Historian Tomàs MacNamara from Tuamgraney explained the possible links to Biddy Fox and how one can find out more about her and her age.
