Shannon Airport was host to a very special visitor on Saturday afternoon in the form of President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
The Ukrainian president met with Taoiseach Simon Harris on his way back from celebrations in the US marking the 75th anniversary of the foundation of NATO.
The two leaders discussed Ukraine’s bid to join the EU which the Taoiseach said Ireland is wholeheartedly supportive of, as well as further ways in which this country can support the country through various forms of aid.
