Brennan Retirement Described As ‘Awful Loss’ To Clare Footballers

Tributes are being paid throughout Clare to Gary Brennan as it’s believed the former All Star nominee has called time on his intercounty football career.

It’s reported the former Banner captain will not be a part of Colm Collins’ panel with 2021, though will continue his club commitments with both Clondegad and Ballyea’s hurlers.

Brennan has been a part of Clare’s intercounty squad for 13 years, and had initially decided to step away from the panel last year to travel before COVID-19 restrictions took hold.
