Clare Hurling Loss Undeserved Says Fitzgerald

Clare hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald says his side didn't deserve to lose the Munster Hurling Quarter Final.

John Fitzgibbons late point gave Limerick a 1-19 to 2-15 win over the Banner, setting up a last four clash with Tipperary.

Both sides were reduced to 14 men, with Clare joint captain Pat Donnellan dismissed on the stroke of half time.

Subsitute Aaron Cunningham grabbed two second half goals for the Banner, but it wasn't enough to see them over the line.

Fitzgerald also said he believes his side are close to ending their poor run of form.

Limerick also won the intemediate decider, with three second goals sealing a 3-14 to 2-15 win.
