Munster Council Announces Province-Wide Grants

Clare GAA has received a €500,000 boost from the Munster Council.

The provincial body have announced a grant package which will be used on works on major county grounds and centres of excellence.

Here in Clare, Cusack Park is to undergo a major facelift in the near future, while funds may also be funnelled into the Centre of Excellence at Caherlohan.

The total package is worth €6.25 million, with €3.75 million of this going into the redevelopment of Páirc Uí Chaoimh.

Meanwhile, workers at a Shannon company are hoping to become All-Ireland champions tonight.
