Chelsea have opened up a two-point gap at the top of the Premier League.

Goals in either half from Oscar and Diego Costa gave Jose Mourinho's side a 2-0 win at home to Newcastle.

Despite taking the lead, second placed Manchester City were held to a 1-1 draw at Everton.

Goals from Scott Arfield and Danny Ings saw Burnley beat QPR 2-1 at Turf Moor, and they're now out of the bottom 3.

Saido Berahino was on target yet again for West Brom who were 1-0 winners at home to Hull.

Republic of Ireland defender Ciaran Clark was sent off late-on, along with Leicester's Matthew James, but it was the Foxes who ran out 1-0 winners thanks to Paul Konchesky's goal.

While at the Liberty, a Mark Noble own goal secured a point for Swansea in their 1-1 draw with West Ham.
