St Flannan’s have been handed an opening round defeat in this year’s Corn Ui Mhuiri campaign.
The Ennis side lost out to Patrician Academy Mallow in their first group clash of the U-19 A Munster Football Competition.

The final score at the UL Sportsgrounds was 3-13 to 1-13 in favour of the Cork outfit.
Flannan’s will be hoping to get their season back on track when they meet current and record twenty-four time title holders St.Brendan’s Kilarney in the next group fixture on Wednesday November 8th.
