McMahon Feels Banner Have Plenty Motivation For Cats Clash

A former team-mate of Brian Lohan feels the Banner will be eager to lay down an early season marker in Sunday’s National Hurling League clash with Kilkenny.

Management will name their team later for the Cusack Park showdown with the Cats, in a game that will see the winners qualify for the league semi-finals with a round to spare.

Both sides are unbeaten ahead of the game, with their last meeting coming in the All Ireland semi-final in Croke Park.

Two time All Ireland winner Seanie McMahon says while it may only be the league, there’s plenty motivation for the Banner to draw on.
