The latest figures from the National Housing Construction Index reveals that sentiment in the construction sector in Clare remains positive with a 9 per cent increase on the same period last year.
But despite this, there has been a significant fall in activity in the residential construction sector here with project commencements down by 51 per cent over the same period.
