Garda Warning As Two Yellow Weather Alerts In Place For Clare

Gardaí are warning motorists of treacherous driving conditions this morning as two status yellow weather warnings remain in place for Clare.

Strong winds are forcast for the county until 2 o'clock this afternoon with winds of up to 65 kilometres per hour and gusts of up to 90 kilometres per hour.

While heavy rainfall is also forcast until midnight tonight with up to 35 millimetres of rain in some places.

The low level alerts cover Clare, Galway, Limerick, Cork, Kerry, Waterford and Wexford.
