Former Ennis Mayor calls for action on roads in county town

A former Mayor of Ennis says the town and its surrounding areas has been left short-changed in terms of roads funding.

Fine Gael Councillor Johnny Flynn's comments come as the Council outlines its plan of works over the coming year, and shows that 1.2 million euro is to be spent on roads in the Ennis Municipal District.

However, this is only a fraction of the over 8 million euro total that is being spent on 

Councillor Flynn says roads in Ennis are the busiest in Clare, and need more investment.
