Parents in Kilrush and Kilkee have expressed their frustration over further delays in restoring community childcare services.
Families in the area have now been without childcare service for over two months following the sudden closure of the West Clare Early Years Centres in mid-February.
Services have been restored in three towns and the Kilkee and Kilrush services had been expected to resume under new management today, but the date has now been pushed back to the middle of May.
Sorcha Daly of the West Clare Community Childcare Action Group says parents are disappointed.
