The High Court has allowed a Councillor to challenge the Household charge because the legislation has not been published in Irish.
Fianna Fáil’s Thomas Brabazon won the right, on the basis that the legislation is currently published only in English.

Mr Justice Iarfhlaith O’Neill ruled yesterday that the legislation is unconstitutional on these grounds.
