380,000 euro in funding has been confirmed for four projects in County Clare under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.
Councillors from the Muncipal Districts in the county was asked to nominate a project in their area for a share of the funding, with 95,000 euro going to each one.
Ennis-area Councillors chose a programme of works to improve the streetscape in Clarecastle, while there will also be money for the Shannon Town Green Plan and public art at the Percy French Green in Kilkee and Carrigaholt roundabout.
In East Clare, the funding will go to improving accessibility and safety in Scariff.
Cathaoirleach of Killaloe Municipal District Tony O'Brien says while the money is welcome, there was very little time to apply for it.
