On Sunday 9th of August, 'Get on your bike with Portumna Cycling Club' held a fun 15km family cycle from Portumna. The event was held to promote healthy recreation and help in some way to financially support Olive Shaughnessy and her husband Tom and three children as they deal with the reality of life threatening cancer and the impact on their lives.
Olive promotes a positive mental attitude to help her deal with all she encounters on this journey.
