A Road Safety Authority report finds 28% difference in driving test centre pass rates
New figures show a significant variation between pass rates at driving test centres around the country
A report by the Road Safety Authority shows a 28% gap between the highest and lowest ranking test centres, which means your chances of passing the test could depend on where you live
The unpublished report shows significant variation in pass rates at test centres around the country
Ennis has the highest pass rate, at almost 68%, with Sligo and Clifden coming in second and third

Almost 1 in 3 members (28%) of the farming community don’t tell anyone about their personal problems and difficulties, according to a recent study commissioned by the Irish Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy
Dr Harry Barry, GP and author of ‘Flagging Depression’ had a word with Marian and said that bottling up personal problems can lead to physical and mental ill health, especially where people live in more isolated communities and urges  everyone to discuss their problems

Margaret Healy of the Family Farm Committee with the Irish Farmers Association believes the bad weather this summer has increased stress levels among farmers
She said there is huge pressure on people right now – and encouraged people to discuss their issues 
The IFA is promoting a ‘Think Safety-Farm Safely’ campaign throughout the country, which is focused on the awareness, promotion and education of farm safety
