Fine Gael T.D. Pat Breen joined us in studio to outline his concerns regarding the closure of Kilrush Warfarin Clinic. Due to the expected significant reduction in the number of patients requiring warfarin and in line with best practice the Kilrush Warfarin Clinic will be closed on a phased basis. Patients who are attending the Kilrush Warfarin Clinic who are deemed unsuitable for NOAC and must continue on warfarin will be given the option to attend either their local GP or Ennis Hospital Warfarin Clinic. Two additional clinics have been opened in Ennis to accommodate patients across the week. Pat also shed some light on the amount of money being spent to send the country's Ministers around the world for St. Patrick's Day.

Clare secured their first win of the 2015 National Hurling League over Dublin on Saturday afternoon. A late goal from Man of the Match Tony Kelly secured a 2-22 to 2-20 victory for 14 man Clare, who had Brendan Bugler sent off just before half time.
Meanwhile, following the reports that Davy O'Halloran, who was one of two players to leave the panel last week, saying he was "humilated" by Fitzgerald after The Eire Óg man was deemed to have breached a Code of Conduct by socialising two nights before the loss to Galway, Clare manager Davy Fitzgerald says he feels the management team dealt adequately with disciplinary issue which arose within the squad. Speaking after Saturdays win over Dublin, Fitzgerald said he feels the matter has been dealt with – he spoke to Clare FMs Syl O'Connor and first outlined his delight with the team's spirit.
