The Taoiseach has reacted angrily at the language used by an Independent TD who’s criticised what she called the Government’s "unprecedented slobbering" over the Obamas.

Clare Daly claimed the country was pimped out like a nation of prostitutes over the past few days.
Deputy Daly says President Obama is a war criminal, while at the same time talking peace to children in Northern Ireland.
But her comments about the Government’s welcome for the U-S First family drew a terse response from Enda Kenny:
