Serial child abuser, Kilrush Man Thomas Waters could yet be facing jail.
The DPP has now lodged an appeal against the suspended sentence imposed on him for indecently assaulting three young boys in the 70 and 80.
All three were members of his Judo club
64 year old Thomas Waters of Moore Street Kilrush walked free from Ennis Circuit Court last month after receiving a four year suspended jail term.
One of offender’s victims who spoke to Clare Fm wrote to the DPP requesting that the sentence be appealed and the court services have confirmed that the appeal has been lodged.
