A former All Ireland winner with Clare feels Sunday’s Munster Hurling Semi Final against Limerick is a must win game for the Banner.

Management will name their respective teams for the clash this evening, with Clare only having Oisin O’Brien unavailable through injury.

It’s understood Conor McGrath and team captain Pat O’Connor are in line to make their first starts of the year, while the likes of Podge Collins, Tony Kelly and David McInerney are also expected to start.

4 time All Star Jamesie O’Connor says while the pressure is on, he thinks Clare will come through

Meanwhile joint Clare manager Donal Moloney says they’re preparing for a massive challenge from Limerick.

The Banner come into the game as favourites, with the Shannonsiders nursing a number of injury concerns including Diarmuid Byrnes, Gearoid Hegarty and William O’Donoghue.

Moloney is dismissing the notion that Limerick are coming into the game as underdogs
