Two former All Ireland winning team mates with Clare will go head to head on the sideline for their clubs this weekend.

Kilmaley and Tubber clash in the Clare intermediate hurling final with 1995 goalscoring hero Eamonn Taffe in charge of the North Clare men while Conor Clancy is manager of his native Kilmaley.

These two side are the most recent to suffer relegation in the championship with Tubber dropping down in 2015 while Kilmaley followed 12 months later.

Taffe says his side have put in a huge effort to give themselves a chance at regaining their senior status

They meet in Cusack Park on Sunday at 3.30pm, live online commentary on www.clare.fm and through our social media channels along with on air updates in association with Gort Road Tyres Ennis.

Taffe will also be lining out for Tubber this weekend when they take on Newmarket in tomorrow’s Junior B Final with that one starting at 3pm in Gurteen.
