Today’s Morning Focus included everything from the Limerick for Engineering Showcase, the new Surrogacy Bill coming through, a one-woman play coming to glór and our regular segment from the Money Doctor John Lowe.

First up on the show, we had Fuiona Whyte who talked to Gavin about the new surrogacy bill which she fears will push couples abroad. Whyte, who has written a book on the topic, talked about her own experience with surrogacy and adoption.

Next up on the show we had former President of the IFI, Michael Vaughan talking about a recent survey that showed only 40% of hoteliers had a positive outlook for the next twelve months. Is the hotel sector going to suffer due to Brexit uncertainties?

Some of you may know Limerick for Engineering is returning to Shannon Airport this Thursday for school-leavers encouraging them to explore careers in engineering and technology. Lots of Shannon-based companies will be at the event, including Electronics Ireland, whose purchasing manager was on air with Gavin telling us more about the showcase!
