Gardaí in North Clare have warned homeowners to be on alert to potential scam artists calling to their doors.
A number of residents in the Kylemore South and Ardrush areas reported visits by suspicious individuals purporting to be reading electricity meters on behalf of the ESB.

The incident occurred last Thursday.
