Calls For Answers Over Fianna Fáil Dáil Vote Controversy

It has emerged that Fianna Fáil’s Lisa Chambers mistakenly voted for the party’s deputy leader Dara Calleary last Thursday.

The party’s Brexit spokesperson says she “inadvertently” sat in Deputy Calleary’s seat, and “pressed the button once in error.”

It comes after Niall Collins voted six times on behalf of Timmy Dooley.

The Sinn Fein Leader says it’s very worrying that a series of votes could be cast for a Dail deputy who wasn’t actually in the Chamber.
