Former Clare goalkeeping coach Christy O’Connor is set to join the Cork senior hurlers backroom team.
According to the Cork Echo, the Doora/Barefield man has been added to Kieran Kingston’s coaching staff for 2020.
O’Connor was rumoured to be joining Donal Moloney’s new Clare set-up before the latter withdrew from the race.
The All-Ireland club winner has also worked with Michéal O’Donoghue in Galway and Anthony Daly in Dublin.
