Crowds in their droves are expected to come out in Ennis tonight for the official switching on of the town’s Christmas lights.
Clare FM’s Colum McGrath will be joined by Ireland rugby star, Kilmihil native Eimear Considine, for the festival this evening.
Santa will be on hand and there will be carol singing to entertain the crowds, as well as plenty more entertainment in O’Connell Square from 5 o’clock this evening.
Deputy Mayor of Ennis Ann Norton will switch the lights on at 6pm and she says it’s sure to be an enjoyable evening:
