Fresh concern is being raised about persistent anti-social behaviour at Clare Abbey.
Clare County Council has been in regular contact with the OPW to discuss the issue at the site between Ennis and Clarecastle, after concerns were last raised in July of this year.
However, the problem is said to be persisting and Ennis councillors now want to see stronger action taken to ensure that those visiting their loved ones’ resting place can do see in peace.
