St Breckan’s manager Neil Hawes feels the hurt of previous defeats drove his side to victory in the Clare U21B football final.
The North Clare men produced a defiant finish to overturn a three point deficit, as they kicked the last five scores of the game to beat Lissycasey by 0-13 to 1-8.
It ended a run of losses in finals for the club, with defeats at minor, U21 and the O’Gorman Cup all coming in recent times.
Hawes feels those experiences fed into the way they saw the game out this time around
Meanwhile the final pairing for the U21A decider is now complete.
The amalgamation of Kildysart-Coolmeen-Kilmihil-Shannon Gaels overcame Ennistymon to set up a final showdown with Eire Óg.
