The Clare U21A football title is on the line this evening as Eire Og and Cil Cuil Gaels square off in Miltown.

The two west Clare clubs are involved once more this time around, but have assistance from Coolmeen and Kildysart to compete at the top level.

Manager Paul Reidy feels it is vital for players at this age to be exposed to football at the top level.

Meanwhile Eire Og manager Johnny Griffin feels the experience of their younger players with the senior squad in recent months will benefit their long term development.

The Townies come into this evenings final, looking to win their sixth title at the grade.

A number of the squad have been part of Paul Madden’s senior set up in their run to the Munster club semi final with the likes of Manus Doherty, Mark McInerney, Philip Talty and Ronan Lanigan all set to feature this evening.

Griffin says they will have gained huge experience from this year’s senior run

Throw in this evening in Miltown is at 6pm
